There are so many reasons to choose Gérardmer, the “Pearl of the Vosges”, for a pleasant family holiday: its beautiful lake, the numerous restaurants and accommodations, and the Mauselaine ski resort. And as a bonus, a snow shuttle links the centre of town with the ski slopes!
There’s everything in place to please both board sport enthusiasts and families looking to enjoy the snow with the little ones. As for board sports, there are around 20 downhill slopes (including the longest slope in the Vosges at 2,900 metres). The pistes are lit up from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for night-time skiing and snowboarding with music. Even the slalom stadium (1,600 metres long with 330 vertical metres) is open to the public outside of competitions and training: the perfect opportunity to race against the clock like the pros!
The resort’s numerous activities include ski touring, snowshoeing, horseback riding, tobogganing, dog sledging, ice ruisseling, snow canyoning, ice climbing, ice karting, snowmobiling and even Nordic ski’fit: fitness sessions in the snow.
La Renouée: Try the snow racket walk by night right behind our house and end up with a nice night view from the height of Gerardmer
On top: 100 km of cross-country trails connects La Mauselaine to the resorts of Xonrupt and La Bresse

Every spring, the daffodil adorns the slopes of Gérardmer with gold. Having become an emblem and even an authentic heritage for an entire city, the daffodil has generated a real passion since 1935.
Picked with courage and respect by the hundreds of little hands of the volunteers, they dress the floats created by the builders, real artists and goldsmiths. These floats parade for you, to the rhythm of musical formations from all over Europe. So what are you waiting for to come and discover the Daffodil Festival show?

For more information on your stay in the "Perle des Vosges", we advise you to go to the tourist office of Gerardmer which is located on the Place des Déportés in 15min walking distance from La Renouée.
And if you want to quickly get acquainted with this small town, start by pronouncing his name “Gérardmé” rather than “Gérardmer“, the locals will appreciate.
